Usmania Restaurant

3rd class service!!!

I was unfortunate to go to Usmani on University Road during Ramazan 2011. They were offering buffet at I guess 700 per head (don't remember exact price). The place was overcrowded and the ambiance and atmosphere was pathetic which was expected. Gentry was all shalwar kamiz type with "narra" and the food sucked too. I think only biryani was great and rest was so-so.
With so many people they had only 1 washroom on the floor (or may be 2 but I didn't see) I was and that was so pathetic that I can't even describe. I mean who puts "bar soap" instead of "liquid soap" in restaurants these days? And it had towel instead of hand dryer which was dirty. Oh come one!!

There is a similar kind of restaurant "Lavish Dine" opposite Millennium Shopping Mall which was 1000000 times better than Usmani during Ramzan. It has a very neat and clean atmosphere, very very neat washrooms and great good with reasonable price. It was offering buffet during Ramzan at Rs.666 per head and the food quality was superb!

Even during normal days if you go there, you will find their service quality much better than others.
